Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy outlines how MEDINBOX manages Personal data of the User. It also generally describes the sorts of Personal data held and for what purposes, and how that information is collected, held, used and disclosed.

• Personal data : any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, directly or indirectly identifiable.
• Processing : any operations performed on personal data, such as collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, etc.
• Controller : the natural or legal person that determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.
• Website : the MEDINBOX website, medinbox.com
• User : Any natural person who is visiting the Website.
• Cookies : Any small text files that are placed on computer by visited websites.

1- Processed Personal data

In the context of the Website using, MEDINBOX is collecting the following Personal data :

• Identification : first name, last name, phone number ; email address ; city ; country.
• Professional : Name of the company, job title,
• Navigation and browsing data : origin of the navigation, elements of the Website already consulted by the User, etc.

By using the Website, the User declares that he has been informed of the hereby privacy policy at the time of the collect.

Concerning the demo form, the User shall fill in the field “Message” with the only Personal data which are strictly necessary to the request process.

2- Purposes and lawfulness

The purposes of MEDINBOX’s processing are the following:

• Management of requests;
• Answer and contact back the user that filled the contact form ;
• If so, make ads more valuable and more engaging ;
• If so, website usage statistics ;
• If so, make optional function more efficient.

These processes are based on the User’s consent. The consent is given by checking the appropriate box in the contact form or by accepting cookies, in full or in part, through the Cookie banner.

3- Period of data storing

MEDINBOX conserves the Personal data solely during a two (2) years period after the request’s sending.

Personal data filled in by the User in the field provided “Message” are conserved until the request is being processed.

At the end of this period, Personal data are removed, except in case of legal exception imposing a longer period.

4- Data transfer

The only recipients of the Personal data collected, relating to the Website, are MEDINBOX’s employees specially authorized by the company to process Personal data.

MEDINBOX does not and shall not transfer any Personal data in destination of countries outside European Union.

5- Security and confidentiality

MEDINBOX, as the controller, has set up technical and organisational measures to ensure the respect of Personal data confidentiality and security.

Some example of measures are : document storage security policies; security measures for systems access; access control for MEDINBOX buildings; use of firewalls and data encryption.

Employees authorized to process Personal data have been trained and made aware of the Personal data protection by MEDINBOX.

6- Rights of the data subject

In accordance with the General Data Personal Regulation, the User can exercise his right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of Processing, objection and data portability.

To improve the performance of the Website, MEDINBOX uses:

If MEDINBOX changes the Privacy Policy and/or procedures, MEDINBOX will post those changes on the Website.
